Year 6 litter picking

6W went out litter picking and were astonished by how much we found. Three full bags and a half! The thorny bushes were filled! The amount was unbelievable - we found a spoon, basketball hoop and even a chair! We need to look after our school - Wyken Croft!

We put on our gloves and ventured into the forest areas. In one section, there were lots of nettles, which made out job much harder! We went around the school’s perimeter and, even though we had 30 minutes, we could have carried on for much longer!

Remember: Keep our school and local environment clean and tidy!
